After the curse broke, Zachary developed this habit.

Ever since that day when he bit my neck in the snake’s passage, it became a habit of his to cling to me whenever he had nightmares.

Zachary tended to bite every part of my body he could reach. Sometimes, he would attack like a beast, making it hard for me to hide the marks, so I had to push him away and tell him to stop. But in the end, I was the one who gave in. The thought of him getting hurt doing something else instead of biting… that was even more terrifying.

In the end, I initially resisted but later gave in and offered my body.

If I left him alone in this state for a while, his anxiety symptoms would subside. That’s why I didn’t stop Zachary.

    “Hmpf.”

At this point, I was starting to feel the need to intervene.

It wasn’t just that it hurt. I turned my face away, blushing. Every time Zachary persistently bit my neck, I closed my eyes tightly and hunched my shoulders. My body kept trembling.

‘Ah, this is driving me crazy.’

The more Zachary’s strange behavior repeated, the more other sensations emerged.

While Zachary’s state was a habit born from the curse and nightmares, I wasn’t the same. Initially, these sensations were just bewildering, but now I somewhat understood.

We… well, even if Zachary didn’t realize it, I was no longer a child.

It was time to understand and accept that repeated stimulation in the same place could elicit new reactions in different areas.

    “No.”

What was I doing with another man? In the past, I would just endure it, but these days, when it became too hard to bear, I would push Zachary away.

When I pushed him away and withdrew, Zachary would look at me with his mouth open, the same mouth that had been biting me. The sight of his tongue through the gap made my face burn.

As he subtly closed the distance again, licking his lips, I knew he was about to bite my neck again. Reflexively, I extended my hand and shook my head.

    “Really, no.”

If this went any further… it would be dangerous. Not for me, but for Zachary.

I was too corrupted a person, so recently, it hadn’t been easy to hold back. I was really ashamed to say it out loud, but…

    “I said no.”

…My body was reacting due to unavoidable physiological phenomena.

Having lived a life of study for so long, my body couldn’t endure even minor stimuli.

Once the initial difficulty passed, it became easier, and the moment I started feeling it, my senses became hypersensitive. The sensation that oscillated between ticklishness and strange stimulation intensified, and now it was too much for me.

“I’m doing this for your sake.”

You wouldn’t want to see this side of me either. Please stop.

But how could Zachary, who was suffering, understand my words?

Despite my earnest plea, Zachary didn’t care. He grabbed my waist with strong hands and pulled me towards him. In the dark, I couldn’t see properly, but his reddened mouth aimed at me again.

    “I told you to stop.”

Thud, I cupped my hands and blocked his approaching mouth.

Fortunately, when I blocked him with my hands, Zachary didn’t come any closer. He just stared at me with a discontented look, and I felt wronged.

‘As if he would remember any of this!’

I had already talked a lot with Zachary about this strange co-sleeping.

I asked him several times what was going on. Each time, Zachary would look very sorry and say the same thing, “I don’t remember the details.”

At first, I was a bit angry, but seeing Zachary immediately looking at me apologetically, I couldn’t press him further. After all, it was largely my fault this had happened. It was my fault for not being able to completely break the brainwashing.

    ‘It’s calmed down.’

It was probably time to sleep again. I glanced at Zachary, who seemed calmer than before.

He would act strangely like this, but once he calmed down, he would fall asleep. Zachary, with his angelic sleeping face.

But soon, when our eyes met, I realized. His eyes, shimmering with a different light, showed no signs of sleep…

    Lick.

    “You, you…”

    Lick again.

As expected, my thoughts were spot on.

I immediately tried to pull my hand away in shock. The warm flesh licking between my fingers gave me goosebumps. But Zachary didn’t allow me to pull my hand away.

When did the arm wrapped around my waist move? He effortlessly held both my wrists with one hand. Staring at me intently, he began lightly biting my fingers, just as he had bitten my neck. He then started chewing my fingers gently.

    “Ugh…!”

Disgusted by the unfamiliar sensation, I tried to pull my hand away, but it was futile. The strange texture tickled my fingers, making them twitch as I spread them out. Zachary, watching me through my fingers, licked between them with his tongue.

His blue eyes, glowing more intensely, narrowed slightly.

“Please, just sleep. Hm? Let’s sleep.”

Even though Zachary bothered me like this at dawn, he would look at me blankly the next day, completely unaware. So, I thought it was best to just put him back to sleep, assuming it was a form of sleepwalking or a night tantrum.

I brought my face close to his, so he couldn’t do anything else. Once close, Zachary stopped licking my hand and stared at me blankly. Sensing his slight confusion, I quickly hugged him.

    “I have a lot to do tomorrow…”

One hand was still restrained, trapped between us. Since I couldn’t use my hand freely, I rubbed the smooth strands of his hair with the tip of my nose, pleading. Just let it go for a day. I was so busy trying to figure out the curse marks on your body that my eyes felt like they would pop out.

As I murmured, Zachary, who had initially flinched, calmed down.

It seemed Zachary was tired too. The arm that had been gripping my back loosened. His large arm was still draped over my back, but his exhausted body lost all strength as if being dragged into sleep.

‘I must have gotten used to it…’

Zachary’s scent, which initially felt awkward, had become familiar. After months of sleeping together, it felt like I couldn’t fall asleep without his scent. Drowsily, I waited for Zachary’s breathing to become steady and calm.

Just closing my eyes for a moment like this felt like resting. It made me realize how busy I had been.

    ‘Did he fall asleep?’

How long had it been? Zachary was now completely still.

Anyway, I couldn’t fall back asleep now. Thanks to reaching adulthood a few days ago, I received quite a few congratulatory letters and needed to write responses. Of course, I could only write responses when Zachary was asleep.

Zachary had a strange dislike for me communicating with outsiders. No matter when, he wouldn’t leave me alone while I was writing responses to letters.

Even if I asked him why, he would stubbornly keep his mouth shut. No matter how much I coaxed him, he wouldn’t answer.

In the end, I could only assume that Zachary didn’t want me to communicate with anyone else because I was the only one he could call a friend.

    ‘Does it trigger some trauma?’

Perhaps it kept bringing up painful memories. Zachary had been through a lot.

But that didn’t mean I could cut off contact with the outside world completely.

‘He really seems to be asleep now.’

This was my chance. If I got up quickly and wrote my responses, I could still get a few more hours of sleep.

I quietly extracted my hand from Zachary’s grip. He didn’t grab me again. Taking advantage of the opportunity, I started to get up.

    ‘Ah, you scared me.’

Our eyes met. Not with sleepy eyes, but wide, bright ones that seemed to be waiting. He pulled me back into his arms as if he had been waiting for this moment.

    ‘I’m doomed.’

While my arms were free, I couldn’t move my body at all. He was holding my back tightly, feeling around. His large hand traced my spine.

    ‘Ah, not again.’

Zachary seemed to prefer touching bare skin, so if I was wearing clothes, he would somehow push his hand underneath. That made me feel bare-skinned, which was too…

“Could you… take your hand out?”

I gritted my teeth and smiled, pulling my body away.

    ‘I want to die.’

In the end… I got aroused.
