BID Chapter 82
by BlossomTLHis insides flipped. It felt like everything was twisting and being denied. And that agony finally dragged out the sunken memories. Along with the unbelievable memories, the sensations that had been dormant until then awakened and swept through his body.
Where he came from, what had happened to him…. With so much information pouring out simultaneously in a short time, he felt nauseous. A tremendous divine power surged through his intestines, so vast that he couldn’t fathom how he had suppressed it until now.
He endured even in the midst of endless pain that made him feel like he would vomit blood. He endured and endured, taking the first step to stand in front of him as his complete self.
“Young master.”
The man recalled his memories. With a face stained with blood, shedding thick tears, he cried out as if screaming.
“You said.”
The person in front of him, the young master… He finally succeeded in recalling the scene of his master uttering his name with a youthful face.
“You said you would help me.”
Thus, Zachary recalled his master’s name before his own. The name his master, not someone else, had told him.
As he emerged from his past memories, Zachary slowly called out that name.
“Oscar.”
It was Oscar.
Zachary, who had spoken Oscar’s name out loud, stared blankly at the window. A long time had passed before he uttered his name.
A dim dawn settled between the two people on the bed. The moonlight seeping through the half-drawn curtains drenched Zachary’s white and pale face. Unlike the times when he always received the dawn light with a veil over his face, he was now fully exposing his face.
The fully revealed face was coldly sunken. It was chilly, with no warmth or affection to be found. However, the frigid expression immediately softened at the warm body temperature grasping his wrist.
“…Mm.”
Beside Zachary was Oscar, who had fallen asleep curled up, a habit from his childhood remaining intact.
Oscar’s body was not the physique of the child Zachary knew before losing his memory. However, seeing him curl up and sleep like a child reminded him of his childhood face. The candlelight, now useless as the surroundings grew brighter in the late dawn, flickered as if about to go out. Through the faintly cast shadows, Oscar’s small face was more swollen than usual.
Well, it was natural, considering how much he had cried.
After learning that Zachary had broken free from the magical formation, Oscar had wept for a full hour. Even as he continuously shed tears, Oscar tried not to let go of Zachary, whom he had embraced. Oscar, who had been hugging him and repeatedly saying, “Are you okay?” and “I’m sorry,” had fallen asleep as if collapsing from exhaustion.
It was the first time Zachary had seen Oscar cry like that. Even though he had been by his side for such a long time, Zachary had never properly seen Oscar cry. Even when all kinds of illnesses tormented that small body, Oscar would smile with a fever-flushed face. There were times when his consciousness had sunk to the bottom and his memories were hazy, but if he had seen Oscar’s tears even once, there was no way he wouldn’t remember.
Yet Oscar had cried so much because of him. While feeling heartbroken, Zachary simultaneously felt a satisfaction akin to exhilaration.
Oscar’s eyelids were so swollen that they seemed to ooze a soft sensation if touched, and it was the same underneath. Zachary gazed at the face with hair slightly stuck to it, almost obsessively.
Oscar, who seemed to be having a nightmare, let out painful groans, and his forehead had become damp at some point. Seeing that, Zachary reached out his arm and picked up a handkerchief placed on the bedside table.
“…..”
He moved very quietly. But Oscar, who wouldn’t have woken up normally, had somehow slightly opened his eyes. Between the reddened eyelids swollen from crying, amber eyes blankly stared at Zachary.
Blink. As Zachary silently watched the long eyelashes slowly closing and rising, he gently wiped Oscar’s damp forehead.
Oscar, who had been blankly staring at Zachary, slowly closed his eyes.
“What….”
As if relieved, he mumbled while closing and opening his eyes again. Then he clung to the familiar warmth. Oscar grasped Zachary’s wrist with both hands. Oscar, who had been staring at the magical formation engraved on his wrist several times as if to confirm it, finally managed to close his eyes with relief. Without letting go of Zachary’s wrist.
Tightly. It seemed like he had put strength into it in his own way, but it was a fragile touch that Zachary could easily shake off with a slight movement.
Nevertheless, Zachary willingly offered his wrist. Until Oscar’s sleep talk subsided.
After staring at the grasped wrist and Oscar for a long time, Zachary slowly lay down next to him as if leaning against him.
Then he reached out his hand and slowly traced Oscar’s neck.
“…Ugh.”
Oscar let out a small groan, whether from pain or ticklishness. It was understandable, as Oscar’s neck was densely covered with bite marks as if all the suppressed urges had been poured out.
As he slowly brushed the obsessively imprinted bite marks, Oscar curled up and nestled into his arms. Seeing Oscar nestled in his embrace, Zachary’s eyes flickered, but it was only for a moment. He silently gazed at Oscar again with sunken, dark blue eyes.
Even though a full morning had arrived, as he persistently watched Oscar, he suddenly thought.
Now that he had risen above the surface. Why he felt more thirsty and hungry.
It was a mystery.

My body was as limp as damp cotton. I couldn’t do anything except groan softly as if ill. For now, I slowly opened my eyes first.
‘Are you crazy? What’s wrong with my eyes?’
…Are they fully open now? I was startled by my hazy vision. I didn’t understand why it was so difficult just to open my eyes. It felt as if something enormous was pressing down on my eyebrows and eyelids.
Moreover, I felt muscle aches all over my body and a splitting headache. Feeling like I had been in an accident, I tried to slowly get up from the bed. But my head throbbed intensely. Along with a sharp headache, my eyes ached as if being pricked.
‘I’m doomed.’
I instinctively felt it. There was no doubt that my physical condition today was the worst of the worst.
A damp and cold handkerchief pressed against my eyelids as if it had been waiting. Startled, I raised my head and a large hand came into view first. I was taken aback by the sight of a hand so large that it seemed to press down on my field of vision, making my body involuntarily shrink. However, the bewilderment soon faded and curiosity arose.
“Zachary.”
It was a familiar sight.
The bandages wrapped around his hand. The paper with ghost eyes drawn on it, covering his face. The tidy servant attire without a single wrinkle.
But for now, it was curious because it shouldn’t be a familiar sight. Holding my throbbing head, I recalled yesterday’s events.
Yesterday, I definitely confirmed that Zachary had been freed from the magical formation. The moment I saw Zachary expressing his own will for the first time, I just kept crying like an idiot. It was irresistible.
I had studied magical formations for years, anxious that something might go wrong with him because of me. Fortunately, the days spent learning and engraving magical formations on my body were not in vain, and I was overwhelmed the moment I confirmed it.
Just seeing the sparkling eyes looking straight at me, how grateful and touching it was. So I shed tears like a child…
“When did you wake up?”
Let’s not think about it. Burying yesterday night’s events, which were no different from a dark history, I looked at Zachary with a small fake cough.
By the way, there was still an unresolved question.
‘How did he find all of that?’
The bandages and the cloth with the ghost eyes drawn on it were all locked away in a box. I had even put it deep under the bed… Of course, one bandage had escaped after smelling blood, but it was puzzling how he had perfectly found everything and returned to his original servant appearance.
“…..”
Zachary just silently looked at me. With the cloth covering his face, it felt as if yesterday’s events were all a dream.
‘Like a dream?’
My heart sank for a moment. Yesterday’s events couldn’t possibly be a dream. If such vivid memories were a dream, I must have truly lost my mind. However, even knowing that, the anxiety that had been planted once didn’t easily dissipate.
I wanted to see Zachary’s blue eyes right away and put the absurd anxiety to rest. I abruptly sat up from my spot. My head throbbed intensely from the sudden movement, but I managed to raise my knees somehow.
‘Damn, my ankle…’
As I raised my knees and placed my toes on the bed, a sharp pain shot up from the ankle I had injured yesterday. Flinching, I involuntarily curled up, and Zachary hurriedly grasped my shoulders.
Seeing the jawline slightly revealed beneath the ghost eyes fluttering right in front of me, I felt a sense of urgency. Without even having time to examine my ankle, I immediately removed the cloth with the ghost eyes drawn on it.
“Look at me.”
As the sunlight fell on his fully exposed face, Zachary looked new. However, I put aside my appreciation for his appearance and obsessively scanned his face. Zachary also stared at me blankly for a while. Our gazes continuously met as I focused on finding even the slightest hint of change in his dark blue eyes.
But Zachary’s eyes were still.
They were so still that just as I began to doubt if everything I had experienced yesterday was my delusion, his mouth opened.
“…Young master.”
I frowned mercilessly.
Again? Young master again?
‘Again, young master, f*ck…’
